fuckyeahtattoos: I got this tattoo done at Fishbone Tattoo while living in Chengdu, Sichuan, China right before my return to the US.This tattoo symbolizes three vastly important themes in my life. First, it represents my love for travel, my desire to walk the terrain of an endless list of places, and the genuine inspiration which results from reaching different destinations. Second, it’s a nod to my decision to never settle. I know far too many people who are stuck in places or with people which they no longer wish to be connected to. If you’re not happy, move, run, transition, get on a plane and find a place you’ll thrive in. Lastly, the broken line ends at “平衡” or “balance”. Nothing lasts very long in an extreme or deficient form and balance is never reached through a direct or simple path.
